Honestly unless you are physically Albino, your teacher though she may not be firmiliar with the specific names or what not, I highly doubt she'll be confused or even surprised. You're a desi listing things related to Desi cultures and what most people would recognize as a southeast Asian name. It's like if a black kid listed Hip Hop and Kobe Bryant. Or a southern white kid listing Carrie Underwood and Jeff Gordon.
