Good point Layla, I always hear people differentiate b/w Asians (like Eastern Asians) and Desis it's stupid because technically they are all ASIAN. If wish the other women on this site spoke like you.

@Priya08 Desi means anyone who's Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Nepali, Bhutani and Sri Lankan. And all of these countries are found in ASIA, therefore us, Desis are considered Asians. 'South' Asians to be exact. :)

Hey I know its really random for this post but since its the most recent and I don't know how early the site posts new stories, everyone if you can please please please check out a CureSonia event near you; it only takes one bone marrow match which is rare and most likely is found of peoples in the South Asian decent.
